Robert J. Green primarily studies language and social interaction in political contexts, most notably public meetings, political debates, and public speeches. He is particularly interested in how these contexts are organized through conversational practice, and what their analysis reveals Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ contemporary civic cultures. This focus further coincides with interests in argumentation, advocacy, and rhetorical theory.
